Paul Maricle is a founder and member of Castle Lantz Maricle, LLC. Throughout his legal career, Paul Maricle has advised small and medium-sized corporate clients in many aspects of commercial, corporate and business law including transnational commercial transactions. He has extensive experience in areas including stock and asset purchase agreements, distribution agreements, licensing agreements, employment agreements, corporate governance, export regulation, commercial arbitration, and HOA law.
In July 2015, Mr. Maricle was appointed Honorary Consul for the Federal Republic of Germany. As honorary consul, Mr. Maricle is responsible for helping to encourage networking between the residents of Colorado and Wyoming and Germany, facilitating business opportunities and cultural exchange. In addition, he will be able to offer assistance to U.S. and German citizens and companies with legal and consular issues related to Germany.
Prior to forming Castle Lantz Maricle, LLC, Mr. Maricle was of Counsel Coan, Payton & Payne, LLC (2015–2019) and ALG Attorneys, PLLC (2010–2015) both boutique law firms where Mr. Maricle focused his practice on Mergers and Acquisitions, International Business Transactions and general business matters. Before that Mr. Maricle was of Counsel at Holland & Hart, the largest law firm based in the Mountain West with over 400 lawyers. Over the years, Mr. Maricle has represented several publicly-traded companies and expanded his practice in the area of international commercial transactions. Mr. Maricle advised a real estate developer regarding approximately $150,000,000 in bank financing for the construction of retail facilities for several national retailers and senior care facilities. Mr. Maricle is a founding member of the German American Chamber of Commerce – Colorado Chapter and has served on its board for over 20 years.

Mr. Maricle received his undergraduate degree in Modern Foreign Languages (German) cum laude with departmental honors from Washburn University of Topeka and his Juris Doctorate degree from Washburn University Law School. After graduating from law school Mr. Maricle served as law clerk to the Honorable Justice Richard Holmes of the Kansas Supreme Court.
